Admissions Process

The Admission Process

admissions-processWe know that the prospective patient and their family are eager to get the individual on the path to recovery as soon as possible. We believe in quick yet straightforward and supportive process. We take you through a few brief evaluations and ask you some simple questions to make sure you’re assigned to the right treatment process. We strive to make the entire admissions process as comfortable as possible and ensure respect and confidentiality with all of our patients’ information.

Step 1: Introduction

The first step involves a thorough overview of what the patient will be involved in during the treatment and what to expect. The basic policies are explained and any questions you may have can be discussed. Insurance policies are also discussed in order to decide which programs will work best with your coverage.

Step 2: Psychological Examination

We do some pre-examinations to determine possible coexisting conditions that tend to complicate the addiction process. By discovering the coexisting condition, we can determine how to treat both the addiction and the additional condition to ensure that all needs are met and that a healthy lifestyle will follow after treatment.

Step 3: Medical Examination

The medical examination is important to ensure that we are readily equipped to treat the specific medical needs of each patient. It is also important to be aware of the medical history of each patient to properly prepare the detox and the treatment processes and customize them to the patient’s needs.

Step 4: Set the Admission Date

It can be very exciting for an individual to take the first step toward recovery but it can also be somewhat stressful to make such a sudden life change. We understand what patients and their families are going through and we offer guidance and support throughout the whole process.journey-to-recovery
